A graduate of George Fox University’s Graduate School of Clinical Psychology in Newberg, Oregon,
Dr. Terletzky holds his doctorate in clinical psychology, and investigated how an individual’s perceived quality of attachments with others impacts their sense of hopelessness during stress. He completed a multiple-year residency under the direct supervision of a well-established Licensed Psychologist who specialized in children and their families. He has worked individually with both adolescents and adults in residential and inpatient settings, as well as served as a family therapist for troubled youths and their families.
Dr. Terletzky is a Licensed Psychologist in both Oregon and Washington in private practice. He specializes with children and their families, as well as working with adolescents and adults within a broad context of treatment issues in both individual and group therapy. His approach in therapy with children focuses on entering into the child’s developmental world using Play Therapy in order to establish a comprehensive therapeutic relationship. This established therapeutic relationship between the therapist and client becomes the vehicle for change, altering the client’s perceptions of self and others towards a more healthy and whole person.
Dr. Terletzky is centrally located in downtown Beaverton by 217 and SW Beaverton-Hillsdale hwy, in Griffith Park’s 4900 professional building. His office comfortably accommodates adults and families, and is fully equipped for Play Therapy with children of all ages.
